Hi, I'm trying to create a railing (gaurdrail) with a 4ft-wide-edge-of-slab as a host and I want it to be 3ft high on one end and 5ft high on the other end. How do I do this without creating a guardrail family?
Thank in advance

Hmm, sounds like an in-place family or a generic model line-based family. As far as I know, the railing in Revit can only be constant height.

Query the online help for "railing set slope", and there's an explanation for having a handrail slope between two points. I haven't tried it, but it appears you can have a sloped handrail in certain instances.

That's a function that works with stairs (and perhaps with sloped floors). But if you're trying to do a variable height railing on a horizontal floor, I think you have to use a tool other than a railing.
