DIM->HOME
On the command line, invoke "Dim" then use the "home" option.
This will reset any selected dimension to its default location. Great for cleaning up a drawing where dim texts have been manually moved off the dim line.

Now THAT'S a great tip!
I can't tell you how many times I had to "redo" a dimension because the text was moved by someone.
It just isn't as easy as "gripping the text" to return it where it belongs in a dimension.
Thanks, I'll be using this one allot!

You can also right click the dimension and go to dim text position.

another easy way to return a dimension home is click on it, then use the grip on the dimension and snap it to the midpoint of the dimension line. It's the same thing as dim home, except the grip is now on the line instead of in the middle of the text. It doesn't work for leaders, though.
