Curved Railing

I've created a generic floor model to represent a precast concrete bridge. Now I need a railing to match the curve of that bridge. I clicked on set host but it won't pick the floor. So I'm guessing a railing can't curve? Please see attached.

I use a curtain wall for this application. Railings wont curve.
