Change type catalog units when loading?

When I'm loading certain families with a type catalog I would like the units to read in inches instead of feet...I'm assuming this is not possible but figured I would ask.

You mean the units in the type catalog list box?

David, the units are dependent on the the Project Units. If the file you're loading the family into is metric, the type catalog will show metric for example. The solution is to set your project/template to the units you would like to see in the type catalog and then make sure to override the dimension styles, spot dims, etc. so they're not set to "Use project settings". Then set the units to in these to feet and fractional inches, or whatever you want to see them in.

That's what I figured, oh well they will just have to deal with feet. Thanks David
