Anyone know if/how to apply separate materials to split faces of walls?
Maybe this is obvious, but can't find any thread or documentation.
Any help appreciated.

there is a button just left of the linework tool called paint. Use that, select what material you want to use as your "Paint" and then click on the surface. . . .good to go.

Stuntmonkey,
Thanks for reply--actually had "painted" the materials onto the split-faces--
but when rendering/raytracing, they did not appear. When we set the walls
to the New Phase all rendered properly. Problem is they are existing walls....
when set to Existing Phase they render grey per our Settings....
seems a dilema to work out next week...it's Friday

Hi Cliff,
Common question with a common answer. Set your phase to "New Construction" and "Show Complete" rather than "show all" or any other setting. That usually is the problem.
(Using "show all" has it's uses however.)
Hope this helps
