Hi,
I have a drawing done in 2006 and when I open this same dwg in Autocad 2007 I get lines (I think they are isolines) at the filleted edges of my objects. When I view it in 2006 they are not there. I have checked Dispsilh, facetres, viewres, vsedges etc and cannot seem to turn these lines off.

To turn isolines off, look on the visual style part of the dashboard. If you expand it you'll get a bunch of drop down boxes and sliders. The first one controls isolines. If you click on the icon to the left, you can turn them off.
