My roof plan has begun acting strangely. The view remains partially wireframe no matter what I do. As you can see by the attached screen shot the view is set to Shading with Edges yet the view remains partially Wireframe. Underlay is off, model view is set to normal, all material visibility settings are "by category". I tried "duplicating with detail" and the same thing happened. I have tried multiple variations of view range settings. I tried moving the roof level up and down to force the view to regenerate. Anybody have any other ideas?

Was the project completely modeled in Revit or did you build the model using an import? The linework that is showing through the model looks as though it might be the remnance of some sort of AutoCAD imported linework.

We run into this from time to time in our office with AutoCAD imports expecially if they were exploded and the linework was not deleted entirely after it was modeled.

I never did figure out what was wrong, but I was able to fix the problem. Here's how I did it. I applied the default "Architectural Roof Plan" view template to the view which fixed the problem. I had to go back and change the visibility settings of the various objects & worksets to the way that I had had them set up. I also reset the view depth settings. As far as I can tell I have the view set up the same as before but now it works the way it should. Just another eternal mystery for the books.
