Scratching my head a bit as a new user trying to find 'people' in Revit 9.1...

I've seen mention of Archvision people but possibly haven't got far enough into tutorials to find them yet? Would anyone know where they might be found please?

in the meantime...

there is an 'armless' Mr Gray I have found... pretty awful...

Hmm, how about bringing in 'Mr Cool' from Sketchup 6?

Works for me ;)

William, Mr Gray is a "placeholder" for the RPC people. When you render a scene he/they turn into a real people from Mr Gray.

The following is from the help file.
From the File menu, choose Load From Library, Load Family.
Open the Entourage folder under the Library folder.
Select the desired realpeople family files, for example RPC female.rfa, RPC male.rfa.
Click Component from the Basics tab of the Design Bar and choose the realpeople type from the Type Selector.
Click in the drawing area to place the families in the view. You cannot place them in elevation or section views.
Open a 3D view for rendering.
NOTE:You cannot tag or schedule these family files.

Good Luck

Oops.. many thanks!

Now you mention it I did see that a while ago but didn't connect it with 'Mr Gray'

I found it useful in my existing 3D cad package to insert a 3D wireframe to appear in sections and suchlike - Mr Gray did seem strangely bland ;-)

We replaced mister gray with a 2d slightly extruded guy, which looks good in elevation, doesn't show in plan and renders as an rpc.

You can put sketchup components in a Revit family and use them too...if you want.
