Window legends

I am trying to find a work-around for not being able to tag windows in a legend. I can't seem to add a label to a window in elevation view, so I am coordinating a separate, non-parametric annotation symbol with each window elevation in my legend.
Anyone doing anything better?

Create a symbol that looks like your window.
Personally i prefer using phase to create legend
