We've recently noticed that starting with our template (dwt) file (which we've verified to be clean and free of errors) after having inserted some of "standard" details (some of which are dynamic, usually with just a simple visibility state) the drawing file will have a number of errors in it. We traced it to a couple of sources and have been able to fix most of our problems. But I've run up against one that I cannot figure out (I'll describe the problem for one specific case of the standard details, but the same situation applies to others).
We have a standard detail file of a footing schedule which has the footing mark, size and reinforcing entered in an autocad table format. The file includes dynamic properties for visibility to be able to change the table depending on bearing pressure (there are four separate tables in the file and the visibility state chooses which table to display). No matter what we did to this standard detail block (audit/recover) the file contained errors after every run of audit or recover. However, If you delete all the tables from the file, do a purge (to eliminate the tablestyle from the file - if you skip this step you'll still get errors), and then run an audit it will fix the errors (running an additional audit will show you zero errors).
I thought that maybe we had an error in our file, so I decided to completely build the four schedules (as a table) from scratch. After having built the schedules from scratch (and auditing after nearly every step to verify no errors) I saved the file. Another audit indicated no errors. I then opened the "current drawing" in the block editor. After a qsave or a save of the dynamic block the errors return and cannot be eliminated without the erase/purge I described above.
Does anyone know of any problems using autocad tables in dynamic blocks? I'm attaching the original file (which you'll see the errors repeat no matter how many audit/recovers you run on the file), and the new file that is clean. With the new file if you run an audit you'll get no errors, open the "current drawing" the block editor and run an audit and you'll get no drawings, save the block or qsave and you'll get the repeating errors (no matter how many times you run audit). FYI - we've had this problem with multiple table styles (including the original autocad "standard" style) and in multiple drawings.
EDIT: Through trial and error I have found that if I make a block out of each table before entering the block editor for "current drawing" then I do not have the problem with the errors.
