"Roads" in view properties?

I have some slabs/floors that I am using for roads but they are getting in the way in a couple of views.

I noticed that there is a category in "view properties" called "roads"??

How can I make an object that is classified as a road?

Nope. Roads is a totally unused category which is just there to tease you....
