On our drawings in the titleblock I have the scale set as an auto detect scale tag. When I print half size the scale doesn't change, so it is actually representing incorrect information. Does anyone have any ideas how to show some sort of indicator that the print is half size. The ultimate goal is when printing a 1/4" scale drawing to half size it doesn't still represent the 1/4" scale. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The drawing is always at the scale 1=1, when you print half size, it is just scaled down, it isn't printing 1=1 in half scale...the only thing you can do in this situation is add a graphic scale on your drawing.

Consider an option of adding to the title block a text parameter indicating print zoom factor. Then your drawings would have a note similar to "Printed at 50% magnification". You can set magnification factor parameter once for entire project just before printing and it will appear on all sheets. Can you trust yourself to not forget setting this parameter correctly?.
