ODBC Exports to Metric Only?

So I've been playing with the ODBC data export. Got reams of paper to show for it. I thought it was all pretty useful information until I came to realize that all of my lengths and areas are wrong. Then I discovered that ODBC exports to metric ONLY.

Why?

Are there no work arounds for this? Is there nothing I can do? What a total waste of time!

What does that mean? I'm not a database guy. I barely know how to open an Excel spreadsheet.

If you export to Excel you can simply add another column to the spreadsheet that would contain a formula to multiply the value in column XXX (say length) and by the correct conversion value (meters to feet for example)

This can be easily set up in any application into which you are importing your ODBC data
