This is kind of driving me crazy: I posted this (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=55930&highlight=design+options//) a while ago without getting a response. I can't imagine that anybody using design options wouldn't run into this problem that to me looks like a huge bug/malfunction.

Bottom line is: REVIT reports collisions between different design options, which doesn't make sense to me. What's worse, this seems to slow down the software to a crawl. (Imagine: somewhere deep down Revit tries to compute all those intersections between walls that just have nothing to do with each other at all.)

I did submit a support request in the mean time, but i'm still hoping to hear other users' experiences with design options here.

HELP!!! Anybody...?

I can verify that it does happen. Maybe the Factory assumes that interference checks will not be run until after an option has been decided on and made primary.
I would log a support request and get the official word from the Factory.
