Hi footbridge, (sorry I don't know your real name)

This isn't the right forum for such questions so please don't be offended if it gets moved by a Moderator.

To answer your question. If you want someone to use the files with a different program, then I would suggest making it into a DXF. That's the most common transfer format.

Although DWF is becoming more popular and accepted by more users every day. If you just want them to view it, and don't want to use DWF, then I would suggest making a PDF.

Regards,
Ken

Hi "footbridge"

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the Forum Feedback (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49) forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike

ps Revit Forum Moderators, if this is not the correct Revit forum for such a thread, could you please move it to the most appropriate one. Thanks.

When I was working on Revit we always issued our drawings as dwg and pdf files. Export for dwg, print for pdf.
