Hello.

An image (jpg) is inserted in a drawing AutoCAD 2005 then worked with “raster Design” = all is well.

This drawing (dwg) is saved (Save as) in version 2000i of AutoCAD = so open in 2000i; work fine, the image is visible.

If this drawing (dwg) created and worked in AutoCAD 2005 is saved in this original version (2004) then that it is converted into “2000i” with “Batch Drawing Converter” = the image is not visible (except contour) in AutoCAD 2000i.

Do you know why?

Is it possible or not to use “Batch Drawing Converter”?

Do you save from Batch Converter to a different folder?
If so, the new file may not be able to find the path to the image file.

Hi.

I forgot to read this message since march, I'm sorry.

The drawing converted is in the same place (folder) and have a same name because it's like "save as" with a previous version of AutoCAD.

The problem is because we work with AutoCAD 2005 but a client want to have a version 2000i.

???

Check the layers.
Work in 2000 format file and export as jpeg or bmp.

The problem is probably RasterDesign. Using RD essentially creates an 'object' of the image, and I don't believe the Batch Conversion process can handle that. If you convert manually back to 2000i does it work properly for your client?

Is there an ObjectEnabler for RD and 2000i?

If the answer is 'No' to either of both of them, you may need to use the regular image commands, not RasterDesign to place the image so the client can view in 2000i

For whatever it is worth: If you are using sid files, they may not be visible by users who do not have Raster Design.
