Printing Issue

I would be glad if anyone helps me out regarding the printing query i have, i want to know that while printing on an A-4 sized paper what should i do to get the drawing to scale.i.e using a scale when measured on the sheet it should show the exact dimensions as that while drawing it on revit.
i tried printing a drawing ,when put on the sheet on revit it shows me 1/8" scale ,but I can't find any option while printing to have the drawing on 1/8" scale.on paper itself.

Two things determine plot scale:

Scale of the view you are plotting
Plot Settings > Zoom Setting.

First choose the appropriate plotter, then click on the Plot Settings button and pay heed to the Zoom Area. Choosing 100% will result in a full size plot at the scale of the view. A value of 50% will print your view at half scale and 25%, quarter scale. You can save your setting so they are easily recalled later.

If you want a view to be a different scale instead just change that through view properties.
