I created a two dynamic blocks with the same name, its not the file name but the block inside the file. Is there anyway to change the block name?

Will the "rename" command work for this one? Should do I think.

Rename doesn't work, but let me try to explain myself again. For example I called my single hung elevation windows "sh". I open up autocad - "single hung windows" and i highlight the block - which is called "sh". I know I can rename the file anything I want but I can not reaname the block. ( as far as I know) I was hoping that someone knew a way. I could alway explode it and start over. Also do people have a system of naming there dynamic blocks, so you dont get into situations like Im in. ?

Why is the rename command not working? That command is used to rename various items, such as blocks, dimstyles, layers, etc.
Are you getting an error when you run the RENAME command? What version of AutoCAD are you running?
