Adjusting dimensions

I have created a plan. Now I want to adjust the dimensions. So, I've dimensioned the plan. Now when I select walls for adjustment, the dimensions do not highlight for revisions. Why?

...because it is too tough for Revit. Look at the dynamic toolbar. You'll see activate dimensiosn. This pops up when the relationships get to a point where it would impact performance. If that tool doesn't active the dimension then the object is somehow constrained or you have dimensioned to the wrong object (like a cabinet against a wall...)
