We just jumped into RevIt, a bit quickly I think cause I can't keep my deadlines with all the issues. Anyway, I have a couple of display questions.
First, I would like to see the edge of the roof overhang appear in the floor plan views as a dashed line.
Second, we will probably do our floor plans at the course level, which only shows the outer most face of the wall, not the core. However, we will dimension to the face of the core. I think that will look funny with the dimension extension lines not touching anything. In some cases, like the interior, it will be okay since its generally only 5/8" off and it won't on the exterior where its 1 3/8" for stucco or greater for stone, brick etc. Is there any way to change that? In ADT it used to only show the core in plan, can you do that in RevIt?
