Scheduling Groups

Is there a way to schedule groups? We have Unit groups in our project and would like to find out how many instances of the groups occur in the project. Do i need to add a parameter to do this?

*I just saw a thread that was started but no one responded. And i don't think i can delete my thread.

**update again, now i see that there are work arounds in trying to scheduled groups. not too ideal for us. so the answer right now is no you can't really schedule groups. here's hoping the new Revit Architecture 2008 will allow for this.

You can probably create a "blank" family with shared instance parameters for scheduling any properties of the group that you want to schedule. Then just insert one of these families into each of your groups and schedule the family.
