Hi all -

I'm trying to set up 3d views of my floor plans as axons, and I'd like them all to have the same angle / vantage point. To do this, I do a 3d view, orient it to the floor plan, and then rotate the plan around - see the attached jpg. Is there a way to have them all have the same orientation? There will be five of these, so I need to make sure they're all aligned.

Thanks,
Pete Wilson

Make the first one, then duplicate and adjust section box.

You could also create a Ref Plane parallel to the picture plan, name the Ref Plane. Then select the View menu Orient > By Plane and select the named Ref Plane.

You can also simply use one of the preset orientations such as Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest. I find that this usually gives an acceptable angle and is easier to keep consistent across multiple views.
