Export Image and Area Fill

Trying to do an Export>Image

But try doing this with Area and/or Rooms with color fills and references showing as set in view properties.

I need to get this showing and exported to image files.

Can anyone get this to work?

Not sure why this won't work. I assume that the extents of the room object are not a 'real' Revit object and are generated just for the display on screen. Someone from the factory care to pitch in here?
All I can suggest is a screen capture.

Yes that is what I had to do, which as you could imagine is quite cumbersome for many many areas.

And this is to prove to the local authority that my areas are correct, and not his areas which are calculated by hand - he can then see how the computer calculates the areas with the reference lines.

I have printed PDF files of plans with room colour fills on... perhaps a PDF will suffice? or if you have Adobe Acrobat maybe ytou can export an image from the PDF...

The diagonal reference lines won't print or export though. It looks the only way to do this is to do a screen capture.
