I am making parking spaces which are numbered. I made one number and copied it onto the other spaces (there are many)
Is there a faster way of changing all the numbers to be in sequence, other than just typing in the number for each text object? Something more automated?

I'm going to move this back to an AutoCAD general forum; as this one is for, I believe, the new annotation features of AutoCAD 2008.
You can try using the express tool for automatic numbering; TCOUNT

Do you need to number each individual space? I posted a dynamic block for parking spaces that keep the count of each row of parking and updates itself. If you can just have a number for how many are in the row, I think that would work much better.
Plus, it's a dynamic block, so all you do is stretch it and it arrays the striping lines automtically. You can also adjust for 9' and 10' wide spaces, and from 18' to 20' deep in increments of 6".

We're on 2005 at the moment, so I don't want to get into any of the new stuff with our work drawings.
TCOUNT is awesome. Worked out great. Love that you can have it number by order of selection!
