Howdy All,
I work in the construction industry. I am using AutoCAD 2004.
I have to prepare some catalogue cuts for installation instructions to be approved by an architect. I need to create several isometric assemblies and then my PM wants me to pretty them up with notes and leaders and hatching and etc.....
The last time I did something like this I was using R14. I would build a 3D model and then plot it to a file. Then I would import the .plt file into a 2D drawing and pretty it up.
I tried this today. I can plot to a .plt file but can't figure out how to import it into another drawing.
I'm sure there is a better way to do this, I just don't know what it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David
