In our office, there is the following dimension standard:

Dimensions under 13" shall be in fractional inches. 12 1/2" instead of 1'-0 1/2"

Dimensions of 13" or greater shall be architectural style. 1'-1" and up

What I want to know is if this can be included in a single Dim Style. Certainly, I can have two Dim Styles and apply each as appropriate. I can even write a lisp routine to value check each dimension in a drawing and apply one style or the other (though I think I would get into dim override issues with this approach)

So if it isn't possible...
Would such an idea be desired enough to add to the CAD wishlist?

I dont think it would create dim override issues, you would already have 2 styles created and the program would just apply one or the other depending on the length. If it something you desire, submit it to the wishlist, if enough people think it is a good thing, it will get voted for.
