project standards/linked files

Another question for those of you using linked files for multi-building campuses. I have a title sheet setup to reference some of my project information, mainly issue date for my in progress sets. I'd like to be able to set one file and use transfer project standards so I know they're all consistant, but when I do that for the project info it tries to overwrite shared coordinates too. Is there a way to only have overwrite project information without the shared coordinates?
