I am trying to model some 48" hight gyp. bd. knee walls. Is there anyway I can get the gyp. bd. finish to wrap at the top of the wall?
In my wall style I have the finish set to wrap at ends, but this only seems to work in plan view, in section the top of the wall does not have a finish

you could create a sweep that "covers" the top of the wall.

Yoda's right. As far as I know that's the best way. Now, if the top of that wall is angled (like a vomitory in a theater) then you've got to make an in-place family or make a nice custom family for that condition.
It's frustrating though, I know what you mean. I really wish Revit had the same controls for walls in section that they do in plan. That would be uber nice...

In a presentation format, you can simply use the paint tool to assign the material properly to the horizontal surface, but that does not change the section view.

For a sloped top, I would suggest attaching the top of the wall to a ref plane that's sloped to the correct angle.
