Crosshairs are flickering in AutoCAD

I just had someone call and ask why his crosshairs are flickering. He's using a laptop that was "designed" for AutoCAD. I suggested his video card was having issues and he insists the laptop is pretty high class.

Anyone else ever had any problems like this??

I would suggest that he verify that he has the latest mouse and video drivers installed. In my experience, that is usually where this type of problem stems from.
