Scale Electrical symbols

What is the final answer to scaling electrical symbols? I made a lib of detail components (not in a model family to avoid height visibility problems) I have found that I need an 1/8" version of the plan.... Is there any way to add a parameter to the families I make to have it scale automatically? text too?

I'm not sure if i'm understanding you correctly, but you need a family that scales with your view scales? Could you make it an annotation family?

Yes.

An annotation family is always the size you make it. So, if you want a tag to be 5/32" high by 3/4" wide whenever you plot it, you make it that size in the annotation family. All annotations scale according to the view scale.
