I have made a three story model with two wall types stacked onto each other. The bottom wall is a foundation wall defined with the bottom at the first floor level and the top at a wainscot level. The second wall typically starts at the wainscot level and extends to the top of wall level. Any section I cut through these walls displays properly at any detail level. A very similar wall within the same model has the second wall terminating at the third floor level (13'-4" below the top of wall) and any section I cut through it only displays properly with a course detail level. Any greater detail level and the wall extending from the wainscot level to the third floor level disappears from view. All of the other elements, floor, ceiling, walls extending to the top of wall, etc., display properly at all detail levels.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to make all of the elements appear at all detail levels?

Thanks,

Randy Hunter

I've seen this happen in older versions of revit when a wall was joined or attached to a roof or floor. try disjoining the wall and see if that is the issue.

Thanks for your response Scott. Sorry it took so long to get back here. This project has been crazy. I actually found the problem to be related to the wall profile. It seems that the wall height had been constrained at an elevation lower than the edited profile. When I changed the wall height upper constraint to be the top of wall elevation, all the detail came back.

Thanks, again,

Randy
