I was wondering if anybody has ever done this? Is there some simple button I am overlooking? The reason is that I need to mirror one of our existing projects and I heard the best way is to link it into a new project, mirror it and then redo all your annotations and other stuff like that. Now I would like to Bind this as well so if there are any changes that I can do it in this model and not have to go back and fourth.
Thanks in advance

There isn't a bind feature that I'm aware of. You can however save out your revised model over the existing linked and mirrored model and just re-load it. This will update the views. you may loose some dimensions if walls changed enough, but you can coordinate that as required. I've used this technique in the past with success. Good luck.

You wont be able to do this until you run Revit 2008.

Oh wow.... Is it safe to assume that there IS something similar to Bind in 2008? Because archiving right now is a royal PITA, with Linked DWG's and RVT models. Having to copy, detach, open, and repath to them, etc...
Yay RAC2008!!! Gimme gimme gimme!

You can currently in v9.1 bind DWG's, but RVT's you have to wait until v2008. To bind a DWG, go to Manage Links, select the DWG's, click the Import button.

Ok I upgraded to 2008 and I tried binding my link of a file that is approx 40mb. No Luck. Just give me an error cant bind link. Basically I am trying to mirror an existing project and the only way I know of is to link it in 2008 and then mirror it and then bind it. I have to know if I can do this ASAP because if I cant, there is a lot more work for me to do!
Anybody know what I should do?

Binding is not meant for an entire project, so you will need to find another way. Binding is meant for a hotel guestroom, furniture group, typical floor. Not a whole project.
