I have designed my model in Ram, but I had to use KCS joist. When I went to import the model into Revit, using the newest link, I lost all of my Joist. I then created a family for the KCS joist in Revit, and added them to the library. But still when I re-import the model it is as if the link does not recognize the new family. Does anyone have some suggestion of what I should try?

It may have to do with mapping. There are a few things you have to set up for things to show up properly, I am still experimenting with it myself. Attached is a tutorial that I have found to be helpful.
Hope this helps.

I had to bring this back for discussion as I too have the same problem. Does anybody have a KCS joist family I can download and hopefully that will solve my issue when importing my model from RAM.

Thanks

This is should work for both KCS and SP Joists
you will need to map this new family name to Ram.
you can edit the txt file to add new special joists to work with Ram.
I also added these names
xxSJxx
xxGSP
Ram uses these names if it can not design right joist size
should be able to import Ram to Revit

I am having issues with my deck/slabs importing from RAM. I had to create my own map becuase the one I got when I download the linking add-on was blank. I have managede to get everything else imported but some VERCO W3 FORMLOCK decking. I am not sure if I am missing something or just mapping the decking wrong. If you have the original map file could someone send it my way. Thank you.
