Hello group.
I have a need for a symbol family that will be placed on a number of sheet views, and I would like it to auto fill a parameter with the sheet number on which it is being placed.
I am thinking it might be able to be achieved with a shared parameter somehow, but I think I am confusing myself more then anything. I "think" it might be somehow related to the 'Family Category and Parameters', but when I change that to 'View Titles', I lose some of the other parameters that I need that are in the 'Title Blocks' category. Is there a way that you can reference multiple categories, or merge them somehow?
Or what about another sort of work around? I can create a shared parameter, but I still then would have to change the value each time I insert the symbol on a sheet. I'd really like it to auto fill certain information.
