Export to Viz

We just did a test on a past project we exporting out to Viz 05 which was insanely slow and kept crashing Viz. To our amazement, RA08 to Viz was amazingly fast to get into Viz and start using. The materials separations and componnet separtions in Viz layers was really great!

Anyone else experience huge export to Viz improvements?

Is there any improvement on handling gazillions of objects when the revit file imported to viz/max? We have not installed ours yet so just would like to us if there is any in this regard.

Yes, at least we think so. The file we used had almost half of the skin clad in curtainwalls.
They usually kill Viz becuase there are so many faces to deal with. What took approx. 6 min. before took only seconds with the new version.

What Viz version are you using? Viz 2008 got new viewport speed improvements and other performance improvements as well.
