I need some help on this one since I am sticking with Architecture 2008 due to the cost of migration. I expected a major change in the way slabs work in AA 2008 but am frustrated that when using the slab on grade feature from the content browser I was unable to adjust the depth and width of the turned down edge.

I am looking for information or help to create a 3D slab on grade with a turn down exterior edge that is 6" above grade and 12" below with a 12" width for the bottom of footing. I also want to add interior foundations to support bearing walls and would like some info on how to work in AA2008 to accomplish this.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks
Dennis

You can create the perimiter beam by creating a custom slab edge style and attaching it to your slab style. I have yet to figure out how to create footings in the field of the slab, it may not be possible yet. I have also been looking for this.

I believe there are some examples in the Styles (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=396) Forum.
