Relating Area Tag with Door

How do you get the Area name to show up on the door schedule? I have created an area plan to Tag the Units that we have in our project. I want to be able to add the Unit name to the Door schedule instead of Room names. I think I have to do something with parameters but unsure of the process. Do I go to the Area Tag, added a parameter, then in the project parameter dialog box, added that shared parameter to the door? or is there a much easier way? Thanks!
