I'm having a display issue. I have a floor plan, and an enlarged stair plan done with a callout of the floor plan. I want to then callout a post area on the stair plan, but somehow I can't get the callout to show up. I checked view properties, view depth and Hide At Scales Coarser Than, and I can make the callout show up on the original floor plan, but not on the stair callout plan. Any ideas?

OK, this might be the answer.
I think a floor plan callout must be a floor plan callout- it can't be a detail callout. I can get the callout to appear in the browser as Detail 0, for instance, but the graphic for the callout won't show up in plan. Only Plan callouts show up in Plan views.
The downside of this seems to be that the callouts appear in the Plan View portion of the browser, not in Detail Views

That is the right answer Mike.
You can use the browser organization tools to help you manage your views. I preach that naming conventions for views are so important in keeping a project organized in Revit. You can't just rely on where Revit automatically puts things in the browser.

I guess you can make a new plan callout and reference the detail callout.
