Is there a way to set the default format for dwg export? It seems that 2008 defaults to 2007 dwg format but we still have consultants on 2004 format, so can we set that to be default?

I also have been trying to change the default. I do however know that when you export you can select the format that you want from within the dialog box, or you can download true convert from the Autodesk web site and convert all of your files to the proper format in a matter of seconds.
Hope this is helpful..

I did know about the format within the dialog box, but not the true convert thing, thanks.
I just would like a way to change the default so that we don't have to remember to change it in the dialog every time.
thanks,

What is True Convert? I just searched the mother ship's site & came up empty.
I hate it when I get left out of potentially cool / free things.

It's been incorporated into TrueView (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=6703438)
