Just got my CD - anyone know whether the builds are different on download vs. CD distribution?

It should say somewhere on the label on your CD what build it is. The latest build for download is dated 4 April 2007.

Sure wish we would get our CD here so I could activate my downloaded version. It seems the subscription number isn't the same one as what we had on 9.1 :roll:

They are different. The web download is more current than the DVD distribution.

Your Serial Number should be the same. There is a sticky in the main forum regarding the problems with authorization. You'll need to request an authorization code via web form or e-mail, at least until they fix the authorization problem.
