Hi everyone,
Quick question. I'm cutting wall sections around the perimeter of my building and am noticing that some levels are not being displayed in the wall section view. Is there any way to have a section, once it's cut, to show all levels in the section view instead of just a few?

Generally levels (and other views) will only show up if they intersect the cut plane and are inside the view range of the view. So for sections if you have far-clip turned on, the section will only display those levels which fall inside that range. If you have a lot of levels that don't align, that could be the culprit.
As to fixing, you should be able to get the 3d extents of all your levels aligned and constrained, and then it's pretty easy to move them. Naturally you can always put the 2d extents where ever you need them in a given view.
You could also propagate extents, or use a scope box, particularly useful if you do need multiple sets of levels that have various extents.

Are you refering to the level graphics or elements on the levels themselves?
A level datum will not appear if the section marker does not cross it. Check the extents of your level markers and see if they are cut by the section marks when they were orignally placed.
The extent of the section is controlled by the crop region of the section view.

Hi! Make sure all levels are set to Maximize 3d Extents (select level and right click).
Best regards,

You guys are awsome! The 3D maximize extent option did the trick, thank you!

So, if I understand correctly, there should be a way to "define" the extents of a level marker? We've got a project, for example, with a rectangular parking garage with 7 levels and 5 intermediate levels, completely inside a 6 story residential project with few levels lining up (like a donut and a hole). Every section and elevation shows up with every level marker showing. Is there a way to limit the extents of the garage levels to just the garage area, so that they don't show up on an exterior wall section? We spend lots of time with the right-click and hide annotation tool...
That would be pretty cool...

Scope boxes for that one Jeff. Check out the help files. The explanation is pretty good there. If you don't get satisfaction come back and we'll explain in greater detail.
You can also use worksets to deal with this issue.
