Is it possible in Revit (9.1) to create pipe railing that has curved joints instead of weld or trim? I have done it in Archicad (7.0+) or have used a combination of elbows and cylinders (solid modeling and joining the solids) to get the desired result.

Am I missing something or just desiring way too much? I found I can fillet the railing sketch line..., but its the joins that irk me.

Also....why don't the balusters connect to the center of the top rail as opposed to the bottom of the rail? The rails connect properly to balusters.

Edit...So, no help on this?

Applying a fillet corner is one way to obtain this result depending on the direction of travel for the rail

can you show us a screen grap of what you are after
you can set a top offset for the balusters
