section cuts

i have a building section that i cut in the middle so that i could not have the section line going through the entire building. after i cut it however, i can't adjust how long my end section lines are. i get grips to manipulate their length in some floor plans but not all. is there a "non-editable" setting that i'm not aware of?

you set the height of the section line low so you wouldn't have to see it?

the height of the section line, is set pretty high. i can see the grips show up in the floor plan but the same section cut in the roof plan does not give me grips to adjust the length of the lines. any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is to go to an elevation and stretch your section view range up higher. I would not ever move a a section lower to avoid it being seen in a view.
