9.1 to 2008: Filter?

Is there a filter that you have to use to upgrade a file from 9.1 to 2008. We did the upgrade and lost some information on a project. This is the solution our reseller came up with.

I've never heard of filter for upgrading files. Just open in the new release and Revit upgrades the file. It should give you warnings if there were problems.
What information did you lose?
In my experience through 5 releases now, the only time I had problems was when the room object was introduced. And even then I just had to to re-assign a couple of rooms.

Thanks Dimitri. I was very sceptical about what our reseller suggested (Filter). What we lost was Rooms related. It was a schedule with hand input. Go Canucks Go
