Link CAD Formats to Detail View

Hi, I cut a section through a edge of a second floor slab and tried to link a cad drawing to it showing some post and flange detail but I never seem to locate where Revit insert the thing. I aways get a "Not going to be able to see,check that dadada message". I tried "Manually place" cursor at center and still no good. What do I need to do to get to see what I'm linking?

Edit: I checked visibilty graphics and made all visible, but nothing.

insert into a detail component family and insert that instead.
