I'm coordinating the viewing of the autodesk webcast on Revit tomorrow (Thurs) 9 to 10 am PDT. Afterward, I'm planning on showing the architects in my office what Revit can do (and what it is, unfortunately). I've created a very simple house in Revit but was wondering if anyone was willing to post a relatively simple building so my colleagues could see a more finished and detailed .RVT model. If not, no big deal. Thanks!

The tutorial files have some datasets of near completed bigger projects.

The Documenting your projects datasets have a multifamily retrofit project. The file i_Frieghthouse_Flats-Finishing Sheets.rvt contains site plan, floor plans, unit plans elevations, schedules, perspective views, details, etc.... This dataset pretty much has an example of most things you would want to show. Hope this helps.

I tried opening but got a message saying the files were saved in a later format. I just downloaded the product trail for revit architecture, which was revit building 9.1. Isn't this the latest version of revit?

Revit Architecture '08 is essentially Revit 10... 9.1 was the previous version.

Mike -- thank you! Doesn't make sense that they would post v10 tutorials and only offer v9.1 as the trial product, but i'll work around it. thanks again!

You can download a trial version of Revit 2008 here:

This is the current 2008 version and will match the file version of the tutorial downloads.
