How would I go about doing this?
What I am trying to do - a roof that, at the structural level is flat. The truss doesn't slope, the decking doesn't slope but the built up part of the roof does slope, down to to the roof drain, from all 4 directions. How would I accomplish this in Revit? I have used the slope tools, however it slopes the whole roof and does not do what I really want it to do...

Thank you for your advice!

Hi!
You can do this in Revit Architecture 2008 by using the variable layer setting within the roof family. This is not available in earlier versions.

If you don't have 2008, or the new slab/floor modifiers don't work for you, you can still do it the "long" way.

When I've needed a roof as you've described, I create the main roof with the the truss, decking, etc. For the built up part, overlay the main roof with four separate roof parts, each part with an identical slope (or if not, you're going to want to do the math to calculate the angle the adjacent roof parts meet at) meeting at the roof drain.
