How to export legends in views

Does anyone know how to export / import legends? I can save all of my sheet views that have all of my standard details on them to a revit file so I can import them later. I can't seem to export the legends that are on them. Is this a bug or just an oversight by the factory?

I wouldnt call it an oversight, we just cant do it, lol.

The only rationale i know of, is the one that seems to make sense in my head, but im not sure its the real reason why. Legends can have Project specific Types and Objects, like wall types, door types, symbol types, etc... So naturally, there could be a conflict if you take a legend out and put it somewhere else.

But nope, you cant export and import them, without doing the "open both projects and copy and paste."

We were willing to settle for getting back the functionality of NUMBERING Legends on a sheet... but it wasnt to be for 2008...
