hi,

I have created a wall in the 'existing phase' setting. i have put in a window and it displays it with a cross hatch over.

how can I change the pattern of the crosshatch or its visibility settings?

It looks like with your current Phase Filter, you're seeing an automatic infill. It's not clear to me what you're trying to achieve, so here are some questions first:

a) You have a wall created in Existing. Is the window also Existing or is it going to be placed in a newer phase, such as New Construction? If it's Existing, are you trying to demo the window?

b) What is the final result you are after?

It's important to understand what you're after....then we can help you with setting your view's Phase and Phase filters.

My guess would be his Phase is on New Construction, and his Phase Filter is on New Wall.

If the wall is made in Existing, and the Window is made in NC, that will make the "Show all" show the demolition in New Construction as well... Which would be that wall where the window is.

Change your Phase Filter to "Show Previous and New" and the demo lines should go away...
