I'm playing around with the latest Design Review. When I import the markups into Revit 2008 and change the Status via the Properties dialog box and type something in the Notes, then I reload it back into the DWF (via the Manage Links dialog box and I'm saving the Revit file), the Status changes and Notes aren't carring back over into the DWF. I know it's saving something into the DWF b/c the date stamp changes. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks,
Clint

I have had this same issue. It seems that a DWF will not make the round trip
back to Design Review

It's has to be an issue, b/c if you read the help file in Revit about DWF Markups, it appears that it's supposed to work. Why else would it resave the info back into the DWF?

I have the same problem and have created a support request with Autodesk.

I thought I read somewhere that that issue was supposed to be fixed in 2008. I guess not.

The issue is still there even with the latest SP....

Support acknowledges this as a known bug and says it will be fixed in Revit 2009 released in the Spring of 2008. Until then, if you re-publish the DWF with the linked markups, comments and status changes made in Revit should make it back into the DWF and readable in Design Review. You just can't edit the markups anymore.
